Tut Mastera! — booking independent masters in Telegram
Task
Independent masters — nails, brows, haircuts, massage, trainers — take bookings in chats and spreadsheets. They need booking right inside Telegram: the client sees only slots that are actually free, pays a deposit and gets notifications from the bot.
What we built
- Bookings with confirmation modes, rescheduling, deposits, reviews with moderation and complaints.
- Recurring group sessions; studio, home, travel by district, online.
- A master subscription in Telegram Stars with a trial period, referrals, master communities.
- Prices in several currencies, with a snapshot of the price and payment details in each order.
- An admin mode.
Engineering decisions
- Authentication only through signed Telegram data.
- API documentation is part of the build: a route without it fails the tests.
- About 250 test files, including end-to-end.
- Staging and production, tagged releases, a database dump before every deploy, additive-only migrations, nightly backups with a weekly restore check, Telegram alerts.
Outcome and status
Live: tut-mastera.leadingzero.ru, @tut_mastera_bot. 30 releases in the first two weeks.
